Refunds
Last updated 26 July 2026
Within 14 days of a payment, email us and we refund it in full. You do not have to explain why, and it does not matter how many minutes you used. That applies to first purchases and to renewals.
How to ask
Email support@plainspoke.app from the address on the account, or use the receipt Paddle sent you. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
After 14 days
We do not refund unused time by default, because you can cancel at any moment and keep access until the period you paid for ends. That said, if the service failed you — an outage that cost you real time, a charge you did not expect, a renewal you meant to cancel — write to us. We would rather refund you than keep money you do not think we earned.
Annual plans
The same 14-day window applies from the date of each annual charge. If you cancel later in the year, access continues until the term ends.
Why there is a free plan
The free plan exists so you can find out whether Plainspoke works for the way you speak before you pay anything. It is not a trial that expires. If you are unsure, use it first — that is what it is for.
Who processes the refund
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for Plainspoke and appears on your statement. Refunds are processed through Paddle, and their buyer terms apply alongside this policy. Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights than this page does — including the statutory withdrawal rights that apply in the EU and UK — those rights apply.
